Today, 23 of us Sophmores and 3 chaperones left the school to go to Long View Ranch in Tennessee. Today was just the bus ride because it takes about 13 hours to get up there. Before we left, Mr. Calder prayed for our trip and Dr. Tennies wished us well. Our first main stop was for lunch at Chick-fil-a, Chipolte (Mr. Hood's favorite), and Five Guys. During that, Mitchell bought a mini-football at Dick's Sporting Goods Store and we played catch on the bus. Mr. White confiscated it in five minutes. He gave it back soon and the fun continued, until I dropped it under the bus at the hotel. Danny got it though. Our next main stop was Cracker Barrell for dinner. There, we got a slow start for dinner, only because it was packed, but we got to play checkers afterwards. On the bus we did an assortment of other things. Some of us slept, some of us sang, some of us bongoed, some of us slept to The Beatles, and some of us filmed modern day Volkswagens painted like Herbie flying through traffic up I-95. Tonight, we are spending the night in Columbia, SC at The Country Inn and Suites. Tomorrow, we will leave at 7:30 to continue our trek to Long View Ranch. Hope all is well at home, school, and the other trips. Keep us in your prayers and we will keep you in ours as well. Until tomorrow, this is the BRCS Class of 2015 signing off.
