Blazers in the Kitchen

Posted by: Chris Shafer and Christian Daglio
Yesterday, we went to Florence Fuller and the Delray Soup Kitchen. Christian Daglio told me he didn't know what to expect, but the kids were so friendly and craved his attention. He loved interacting with them and making them smile.
After Florence Fuller, we went to the Delray Soup Kitchen. There, we helped clean up both inside and outside of the building.
This trip is showing me personally that there are so many places that need our help just locally. Next week, we will be returning to these same places with concrete to help fix part of the outside of the soup kitchen. We will also be bringing food for their fridge.

Local Blazers,

We are all very proud of you too! Missions in our own backyards may not sound glamorous, but it is very much the work of Jesus. When I think of all the fun kids involved in this local service, my heart is so full of joy. Christian, KJ, Amanda, and Chris..so many more of you that I'm not aware of yet…you all are GREAT!!! We love you very much! Way to represent, locals. Great big hugs. - Mama Bosworth
