"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Ephesians 2:10
We're excited to live out this verse on our sophomore trip. We are grateful that God already answered our prayers. Our bus, Bonnie, did the job and got us to Columbia, South Carolina without any complications. The bus arrived the hotel and everyone was safely put into their rooms.
Then, this morning, we went through our devotions in silence on the bus waiting upon the presence of the Holy Spirit to speak to us. As we arrived to Long View Ranch, we were welcomed with open arms to a hospitable staff and a delicious meal.
After our meal, we were divided into five different work teams. The projects included painting fences, camo painting a trailer, tending to the horses in the tack room, sprucing up he dining room, and the final group split logs and cleared trails in the woods. The entire class worked diligently at their tasks for the glory of the Lord.
To end the evening, we dined on a delicious dinner, and wrapped up the meal with a birthday cake in honor of Mr. Hood's birthday. With an off-key rendition of "Happy Birthday," we finished up the meal. Then, we moved into a devotional time. We began with great moments of impactful praise and worship, and to wrap up the evening, a great time of intense prayer.
