FRIDAY MARCH 8, 2024
Florence Fuller was easier today, mostly because we knew where everything was and were more familiarized with the kids. Vicky and I helped the teacher cut up paper for a St Patrick’s craft they were doing. We then helped them put their craft together. After that we interacted and played kitchen and doctor, helped them with their lessons and played with dolls. We then left and ate lunch. After lunch we went to the beach and were supposed to pick up trash. We ended up walking all the way down to the bridge because of how much we were complaining about various things like heat, distance, etc. We finally got to turn around. That’s when we split up and swam at the beach or got playa bowls. Overall today was a good and eventful day. We were taught patience and we were shown how even a little bit of pickup can help and impact our community.
