"May have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:18-19

This morning our largest group of students were blessed by a spectacular sunrise. To witness the grandeur of all of God's creation in such a surreal way is a special way to start the day! What really made it awesome was the  fact that there was a large group of sophomores there to witness it even before Mr. Hood arrived. He said himself that this was the largest group of students to watch the sunrise in quite some time.


After that, we witnessed a beautiful sunrise. Then, went into the main hall and started on our twenty minute devotions. God was able to speak to each of the students in an extremely powerful way. After an amazing breakfast of sausage, egg and cheese biscuits, we all gathered together on the bus and were on our way to aid the locals around the community.


Our task was to gather up wood to keep the locals warm for next winter. Everyone worked with cheerful hearts and attitudes. During this work project, everyone was able to be focus on the task at hand, and work to provide wood for impoverished families that cannot afford to heat their homes. After a great morning of work we all had an amazing pizza lunch at the Pizza Inn, where Pastor Tootie and his church members graciously paid for our meal!

We arrived back at the ranch for some exciting rounds of paintball. The game was fun and invigorating. Those who've never played before showed their competitive side during the game and overall we had an fantastic time. 




After the game we had a great dinner, and we began our devotions. Praise and worship went well and we were able to make connections between the songs and the bible passages we read earlier that morning in the book of Ephesians. Forever Reign was the title of one of the songs sang, and we were able to connect this with Ephesians 3:18-19 in how God's love is immeasurable and surpasses all of our knowledge. We ended the evening with an inpactful session of small group prayer.
